Boyuan (Bill) Guo is Head of Design at PLUS, an AI EdTech nonprofit. His work brings together AI product, interaction, and service design to make learning technology useful in a human service. At PLUS, Bill has shaped tutor-student matching, session management, and goal setting. He built its design system and created plus-uno, an open-source workspace that preserves product context across teams. The PLUS platform has earned 20+ international awards and finalist honors, including four Indigo Design Awards, MUSE Design Gold, and an IDEA finalist placement. PLUS has delivered 100,000+ tutoring hours across 7 states. Bill has judged the SIIA CODiE Awards and Carnegie Mellon's XHacks hackathon. He has spoken at the Design Management Institute. He has served on the program committees for EDM, ICLS, and LAK. He holds degrees in human-computer interaction and product and service innovation from Carnegie Mellon University.
