Kalyani Tupkary

Kalyani designs interfaces and experiences—sometimes real, sometimes fictional, often dreamed in-between. As a Senior Product Designer at Roblox, and previously at Twitch, she helps teams stretch their imagination by transforming fuzzy ideas into compelling futures. Her practice melds product design and speculative design, an approach that earned her the 2022 Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Innovative Methods Award for creating new ways of seeing. She has been invited to share her work and journey at conferences such as Config 2023, Pivot 2021, Attending Future 2021, MozFest 2025. She has taught design workshops with students at her alma mater NID. Through this dual practice—speculative design × product design—she works at the sweet spot of usability and possibility, craft and concept, balancing what works today with what imagination might create tomorrow.
