Stanish is an explorer, a helper, a dad, and a maker. He helped found Ground Control in 2013 and has since helped clients produce high calibre Film, Animation and Photography. He is fascinated in the essence of humanity and what makes people flourish. While he focusses intensely on quality of work, he is acutely interested in ensuring the teams he works with are thriving to their max. He's worked in management positions at some of the world’s biggest and most awarded studios. Starting his career at Silverscreen Sydney then working for Tokyo’s TYO before settling in London at Framestore, where he produced the animated sequence of Harry Potter 7. Before founding Ground Control he was head of production at multiple Oscar winning studio MPC where he helmed a team that produced films awarded with Cannes Lion Grand Prix, Arrows, Clios, LIA, VES and many more. Short films he’s produced have been selected for multiple festivals premiering at Tribeca Film Festival, the New York Film Festival and been short listed for a BAFTA.
