Shuang Wu is an Assistant Professor of Creative Technology in the Department of Design and Illustration at Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University, and co-founder of Our Studio Shanghai, a Shanghai- and New York-based design practice focused on multilingual typography, cultural exploration, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her creative practice and research explore multilingual typography, visual translation, and cross-cultural communication across interaction design, motion, and immersive media. Shuang has presented her work at Typographics, AICAD, the College Art Association (CAA), and SECAC, and has served as a visiting critic at Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, MICA, and The George Washington University. Her work has been exhibited internationally and recognized by Communication Arts, the Society of Typographic Arts 100, and the International Design Awards. Shuang holds a MFA and BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art.
