In today’s urban landscapes, high foot traffic and stimuli can become difficult stressors for children and parents navigating public spaces. With Headspace’s Room to Breathe, families can learn to relax and recharge through simple meditation via private and publicly accessible pods.

Room to Breathe is a student project designed with the needs of parents and children at the forefront. We collaborated closely with families to produce accessible, beneficial experiences aligned with Headspace’s company values. The opportunity for parents and their children to step away from stressful public situations into a calming sensory environment provides relaxation, connection, and mindfulness in a way that aligns with Headspace's mission to support mental well-being for all.
