This infographic was created to explain climate change through the example of permafrost thawing, illustrated by the case of the Batagaika crater in Siberia. The project aims to make visible the invisible processes of global warming, such as the release of carbon and methane from melting permafrost, by translating them into a clear and engaging visual narrative.
The target audience includes students, educators and the general public interested in environmental issues. The work is designed as a didactic resource that combines scientific accuracy with accessible storytelling.
The impact of the project extends into education. The infographic is currently being used as teaching material in several schools and cultural institutions in Spain, helping to raise awareness and understanding of climate change and its consequences.
