This is a story about Miss Li’s revenge. In the feudal society of China in 1910, Miss Li married into a wealthy family. Only when she got married did she discover that the family's oppression of women had reached an intolerable level. She went through a painful struggle and made up her revenge. She tore up the marriage license and fought back against those who oppressed her. Eventually, she left the place and found her own happiness. I used a flat illustration style to show this story. I hope these illustrations can let people see the efforts of a traditional Chinese woman to gain freedom in the feudal society. It is the efforts made by people in the past that give modern Chinese women a higher status and a more independent soul.
