Dark Networks is a Hungarian IT company that provides IT services. Dark Networks focuses on the development of systems that operate stably and adapt quickly to market needs. Their profile includes the set up and operation of IT systems, the acquisition of physical and virtual devices, cloud services, virus protection and unique software development. The goal was to create an identity that well presented the multiple activities and covered the company’s profile.

The concept of the logo emblem on the one hand refers to the pixel as one of the basic defining elements of the virtual space, and on the other hand it draws a “D”, the initial letter of the company. The identity balances these dualities in a logo that combines the organic and the scientific. The modular structure and pixel network simultaneously symbolize the diversity of the company profile, the unity of several areas, construction, data and data visualization. 

From this pixel-based shape, you can create a dynamic pattern, icon and illustration world that can be used to expand the identity, strengthening the distinguishing power of that, providing opportunities for creating unique compositions and optimized appearance for online and print surfaces. The color palette consists of strong, clean colors that can be used to design identity-creating spots on different layouts and expressing the relationship with humanity and technology. The corporate typeface was chosen for its geometric and technologic appearance, medium between classic and the cutting-edge, with modern proportions and flexibility in expression.

The identity has been applied to social channels and the website. The overall look and feel of the online appearance is clear and simple to scan, the design includes flexible modules and square shapes that repeat throughout the brand. A set of customized icons was created to represent specific areas of the business, an individual service, or to support different messages. Inspired by the pixel elements used in the logo, the iconography is kept simply to be easily understood.
