We worked with Berkeley Lab for two years to reimagine, design, and build a state-of-the art website design system for their flagship website (lbl.gov), news center, employee portal, and templates for its Scientific Areas. The new Berkeley Lab Design System is built with Native Web Components and other cutting-edge technologies for extraordinary flexibility and best practices in SEO,
accessibility, UX, and responsiveness built into the system. The entire project was grounded and directed by the Lab's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Key concepts like excellence, discovery, and openness translated into a bold and accessible tone of voice.
