When the greatest golfer of all time asked for a new product to help with his training, Full Swing and Method worked together to design, develop, bring to market a game- changing new launch monitor that transforms performance optimization for golfers. Historically, the cost of launch monitors has made them out of reach for most golfers. Commonly used by PGA Tour pros and avid golfers, launch monitors track golf ball flight characteristics utilizing radar. Full Swing spotted an opportunity to disrupt the industry with a combination of high-end hardware and dynamic software that is advanced enough for the top pros and affordable enough for serious amateurs. Full Swing chose Method to help devise their mobile product strategy and mobile app architecture. After working with golfers and their coaches to understand what users look for in a launch monitor experience, we designed a scalable, flexible iOS app that seamlessly integrates with Full Swing’s proprietary hardware, the Apple Watch, and wireless headphones so players can view and hear swing metrics while customizing the experience for their personal needs.
