Time for a new generation of creatives. The Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht in The Netherlands is the vocational college for creative doers in media, design and communication. Here 215 dedicated teachers transmit their skills to the young talents who will create tomorrow's media from their own perspective. It has two campuses in Utrecht and 2,200 students

The Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht is a place where lots of room is given to expression and development. It's a playing field ready for a new generation of creative talent. That's why the logo is a blank canvas which is always the starting point and a place for new media makers. The visual language is adaptive and originates from the logo's image. Unique shapes are created by dividing it into quarters. These stand for breaking down barriers, stimulating new ideas, collaborating and developing talent. This visual language is also easy for students to employ. The Grafisch Lyceum has its own internal office for expressing creative ideas and executing practical assignments. A brand identity for and by students with the new generation of media makers at its core.
