The founders of Wokker, a multi-unit food truck business in Houston, TX, approached us to flesh out their brand in preparation for their first brick-and-mortar location.//Their well-known, and recognizable brand needed a few updates, but the focus was on extending fun brand elements to build an engaging experience in physical space.//We developed messaging centered around the confluence of Texas and Asian cultures incorporated in their food, where “fortunes” delivered by a Lucky Cat are styled as old cowboy sayings, and a Cowboy Code of Conduct takes a cheeky look at the things that “really” matter when dining with others.//Brand elements were developed into repeating patterns and “poseable” illustrations for wall installations and murals, and the color palette was expanded from their black and red to bring more of an Asian pop-art aesthetic.
