"Hakone Butter Sand SUN SAN D". located on the shores of Lake Ashi in Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan. overlooking Mount Fuji. Their brand concept. "Take home the scenery of Hakone" aims to provide memorable sweets for visitors to Lake Ashi. a souvenir of their journey.
The logo design, reflecting the name in its composition. stands out as a new souvenir from Hakone, using three simple circles to represent a butter sandwich. This incorporates a unique design where. if you only look at the shadowed part. you can see the moon and sun rising over Lake Ashi hidden within it.
The main visual incorporates an abstract painting that captures the natural beauty of Lake Ashi. like the sunlight sparkling on the lake and dappled sunlight through trees. encapsulating the scenery of Hakone.
