Book Title: ROAM ROAM, published in 2023, is a collection of images created by fine art photographer, Xtina Parks. Over the course of 13 years, Parks worked throughout the African Continent, capturing the magnificence and magnitude of its wildlife, people, and landscapes. Xtina Parks' candid and engaging storytelling accompany the breathtaking images that reflect her philanthropic, humanitarian and conservationist philosophies on Africa. Early on in our discussions with Ms. Parks we knew that we needed to incorporate the large gallery photograph of ROAM, A matriarchal herd of elephants crossing the Amboseli National Park in Kenya, following the short rains on the savannah; this image would become the book's title. We designed the book's dust jacket using this image printed on vellum (48# Glama Clear translucent) creating an ethereal image where the deep relief gold foil stamp on front cover could be seen as if through storm clouds. To carry the theme throughout the book there are an additional 19 printed vellum inserts that include quotes curated by Ms. Parks. Printed by DataGraphic. 272 pages.
