Royal Enfield, a legendary motorcycle brand with a cult following, is renowned for its classic designs, rugged performance, and deep-rooted heritage that fuels a passionate global riding community. As their long-term digital design and CX partners, we sought to enhance customer immersion across both pre- and post-purchase experiences. Recognizing a gap in the two-wheeler space for both prospective customers and loyalists, we identified the absence of a visualizer or configurator that would allow users to experiment with trims, styles, and accessories, bringing them closer to their dream bike. This insight led to the creation of Royal Enfield Make-it-Yours (MiY)—a fully 3D digital configurator enabling users to select any bike from Royal Enfield’s extensive catalog and customize it to their heart’s content. Unlike most digital configurators that operate in a static 2D environment, MiY introduced a live-rendered 3D experience with dynamic lighting, showcasing the bike in its full glory. Beyond serving as an engaging tool, it also functions as a powerful sales driver, providing a detailed quotation breakdown for customized bikes and encouraging users to book their ride—turning their vision into reality.
