Since 2005 she has been immersed in illustration looking after the various awards programmes at the AOI, a not-for-profit membership organisation supporting illustrators and the illustration industry. Through the World Illustration Awards and the Poster Prize for Illustration, which AOI runs with London Transport Museum, she finds herself in the marvellous position of being presented with the most amazing illustration from around the world. The heartbreak usually follows when not all of her favourite submissions make it to the shortlist, catalogue or exhibition she curates. Sabine has also worked as a freelance graphic designer creating websites, book covers and advertisements for various clients in the UK and Germany. She holds a Dipl Des (MA) in Integrated Design from Cologne School of Design (KISD).
