Description
With the rise of technology and the incorporation of smart home technology in our everyday life, online security is brought to everyone’s minds. Many homeowners are wary of bringing smart home technology into their homes, as they are concerned with security and the possibility of being hacked. There are perks in using technology, specifically smart devices, but there is very little trust by consumers. This is created by the lack of best practices on how to keep their information and home safe. By giving consumers the ability to access information and easily control their smart home devices, they're kept at ease. Cyberus is a hybrid smart home security system where consumers are offered transparency, knowledge, and management tools. Cyberus bridges the gap between security and consumers by informing and educating consumers about their smart home devices and security system. Cyberus offers an approachable solution to the confusing world of smart devices and how to best protect your home and information.
