The Jefferson is a new boutique apartment building in the historic railroad district of Vancouver, WA. Situated directly across from busy railroad tracks in an up-and-coming part of town, we needed to develop a brand that embraced, not shied away from, the location and positioned The Jefferson as a desirable place to live.
 
Drawing inspiration from boxcars, we created a vibrant, color-blocked brand with contrasting colors and bold, confident typefaces. By leaning into the connection with the railroad, we were able to create a brand story that embodies the inherent energy and allure of train travel. 

The brand captures the vibrant spirit of its location and pays homage to the industrial origins of the neighborhood, which led to strong pre-leasing and lease-up after opening.
