JSI created a video and suite of materials for the 2023 United States Conference on HIV/AIDS. This year's theme, "A Love Letter to Black Women," celebrated cis and trans Black women across HIV movements. The video, created by JSI and featuring four of its HIV and Infectious Disease consultants, offers valuable insights into their career journeys and experiences at JSI. JSI recruited black women with lived experience in HIV prevention, expertise in health departments, and a background in the southern U.S., as well as individuals from communities most impacted by HIV. This level of diversity and inclusion is crucial in addressing the unique challenges faced by different groups affected by HIV.

Additionally, the materials produced by JSI, including a conference banner, postcards, and stickers, provided tangible ways to engage with conference attendees and promote the theme of celebrating Black women's contributions in the fight against HIV.

By actively participating in events like this and creating content that celebrates diversity and inclusivity, JSI is playing a vital role in raising awareness and advancing the HIV movement. This demonstrates a commitment to addressing the specific needs of communities most impacted by HIV and promoting meaningful change.
